Meet Pony Glam. Pony Glam specializes in fun, sparkly, colorful hoof dressings – but they’re not just a pretty polish! Hoof Hi-Lites are also farrier/vet approved, nourishing, moisturizing, non-staining, and wear off naturally. I love that these hoof dressings glam up a normally mundane part of horse care that often gets overlooked. But they are also just really, really pretty.
Hoof Hi-Lites come in 5 different colors. I tried out two shades, the first being Sassy Silver: This silver is so pretty – and subtle, which I love. It has lots of tiny sparkles, which make the hooves look really shiny. This shade is my favorite because it isn’t over the top, it just adds a special little something. My first thought isn’t look at all that glitter – it’s woah, those hooves look amazing. I’d definitely use the Sassy Silver Hoof Hi-Lites at shows.

Next up was Pucker-Up Pink: While this shade wasn’t quite my cup of tea (I prefer a more classic look) it is perfect for anyone who loves color. It’s fun, and if I did eventing I’d rock this in my barn’s colors. It’s also a great way to make hoof care more fun for kids – I think I’ll let the summer campers try this out on their horses. The color is buildable, so you can apply one thin coat for subtle color or multiple for more pop.

The Formula: Both are slightly thick in the can, which I prefer because it doesn’t drip and run everywhere. It’s creamy and applies easily to the hooves. It doesn’t stain their fur or their hooves, and keeps them nice and moisturized. It’s really one of my favorite hoof products – I definitely find myself being better about applying hoof dressing just because I want to see the pretty sparkle and shine. Easily amused, I know. But hey, who doesn’t like shiny things?
