It’s a brand new year, and though that technically means nothing, I still love the chance to regroup mentally and to reset my goals. I tackled the blog with full force and spent the last five days giving the blog a much-needed makeover. After looking through all my posts and categories, I was mortified. I’m sorry, guys, I don’t know how you found anything before! I updated the navigation and how posts are categorized and gave the site a fresh new look. But the biggest update that I’m sooo excited about is my new review & ratings system! Imagine easy-to-read reviews based on all the criteria that matters to you. Review posts will now have an area at the bottom of the post, where you can quickly view pros, cons, and the criteria ratings. This way, if you just want the overview, scroll to the bottom, or you can read the whole detailed post. I went ahead and added some of these to a few existing reviews, but upcoming ones will have sections pertaining to the criteria so you can get a better idea of why I’m giving it that rating. Here’s an example of what it looks like:
Pretty cool, huh? Also, reviews will now be purely that – a review on one product. Anything featuring multiple things will be in a separate category, with their individual product reviews being linked. That way, you’ll be able to quickly access a catalog of the reviews you want!
